JSC Karaganda Int. Airport outlines COVID-19 strategy

14 April 2020

JSC "Sary Arka" Karaganda Int. Airport has released the following press release:

"In the current emergency related to the announcement by the World Health Organisation of the coronavirus pandemic COVID-2019, JSC "Sary Arka" Karaganda Int. Airport is ready to offer the maximum possible conditions for airlines operating cargo flights.

The airport is located in the central part of Kazakhstan, at the intersection of the main air routes connecting Europe and Asia, which makes it as convenient as possible for technical stops.

Given the restrictions imposed on passenger flights, the airport has concentrated all its efforts on servicing freight carriers. We offer airlines the opportunity to place a shift crew in an airport hotel, conduct an express test for COVID-2019 upon arrival, and disinfection service of the aircraft. There is a modern cargo terminal at the airport for cargo placement and, if necessary, disinfection of cargo.

Our partners value the quality and speed of service and choose the airport of Karaganda to carry out cargo flights."
