The Airport Cities World Conference & Exhibition (ACE) is the annual meeting place for the global airport city development and aerotropolis community. ACE brings people working in airport development together, and focuses on the concept of evolving an airport and its surrounding area into a unique business and tourist destination in its own right.
ACE allows attendees such as real-estate developers, industry suppliers and airport CEOs to share their knowledge, experiences and best practices with others interested in using the model to develop and expand their very own airport cities. ACE 2014 will take place from 31 March to 2 April 2014 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and is hosted by Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB).
Tan Sri Bashir Ahmed, managing director of MAHB, said: "I am greatly honoured that Malaysia Airports will be the host of ACE 2014 in Kuala Lumpur, and be among the major international airports and pioneers of the aerotropolis concept that have hosted the Airport Cities conference since 2002. It will be even more exciting for us as Kuala Lumpur’s ACE 2014 is going to be organised during Visit Malaysia Year 2014."
Network opportunities
When they are not benefitting from a comprehensive conference programme, attendees can network with key stakeholders in the creation and development of Airport Cities in order to explore business opportunities.
Top industry leaders will share their experiences, expertise and insight into airport city development, while attendees have the invaluable opportunity to learn from Airport Cities speakers about how to stimulate growth and generate commercial development at their own airports.
