On 1 October, DESKO celebrated its 25th anniversary. We thank all of our staff, customers and partners for the trustful relationship in these last 25 years and look forward to a bright future, full of innovative ideas and exciting challenges.
DESKO was originally founded in Creußen, Germany in 1991. Four years later, the company moved to Bayreuth, Germany. Having started with the development of the first DESKO keyboards, the product range was constantly expanded.
Today, DESKO is one of the leading providers of professional hardware and software solutions for all purposes, from simple data capture to enhanced ID document checks. With subsidiaries in the USA and Singapore and more than 275,000 devices installed worldwide, DESKO is a successful global player providing the latest state-of-the-art technology.
DESKO applies a great deal of expertise in research and development to continuously expand its product line and the fields of application. This year, the company once again successfully introduced two innovative products, the integrated keyboard NEPTUN chrom and the swipe reader IDenty chrom along with the IDenty chrom mobile version, a swipe reader with integrated wireless technology for a completely wireless and independent usage.
These solutions are outstanding to traditional document readers and tailored to the needs of agents working in the airport environment. The devices impress with the latest technology in OCR- and MSR reading along with an ergonomic design and a user-friendly handling. In addition, they withstand water spillages, which means that even a poured glass of water does not affect the functionality of the devices.
