ZAUGG Rolba Self-propelled snow blowers for airports are extraordinarily dynamic and resilient thanks to their powerful engines. The well-known and worldwide proven ZAUGG Rolba 2-stage snow blowers are ideally suited to all snow types. The high performance of the snow blowers is based on the generous dimensioning of the units. High engine performances can be converted into impressive clearing performances thanks to the optimum matching of cutter and blower housing.

The brand-new ZAUGG Rolba R500 is unique in terms of size and power. There are no comparable self-propelled snow blowers of this type and size on the market. The scope of performance can be exactly adapted to customer requirements. Various clearing widths are available to choose from. Apart from direct ejection, various ejector tube lengths are available and even a telescopic ejector tube. If required, the R500 can be prepared for mixed use.

The powerful ZAUGG Rolba R3000 is the ideal snow blower for clearing motorways and airport runways. With a snow removal capacity of up to 5,000 tonnes per hour, a maximum casting distance of 50 metres and a clearing width of 2.5 metres (or 3.2 metres with side plates), this machine offers a particularly attractive price/performance ratio. It is powered by a 420 kW (570 HP) engine with infinitely variable hydrostatic transmission and a mechanically driven auger to maximise the capacity of the blower head. And the arctic version will even answer our customers' needs at a freezing -50°C!

The ZAUGG Rolba R5000 is a further development based on the predecessor model. Zaugg has completely reconceived and redesigned the new R5000 and manufactures it at its works in Eggiwil/Switzerland. The new Rolba R5000 from Zaugg has a drive unit that propels the two axles separately. The driver's cab is mounted on silent blocks directly above the snow blowing unit, ensuring outstanding visibility.

The Zaugg airport snow plough SP 3000 is available in 7.5 m and 8 m wide. It is characterised by an especially simple construction and a particularly low weight. The 7.5 m wide model for example weights only 1650 kg. Its cross-section is designed in such a way that it always adapts optimally to the road-surface. Besides it has a snow shield that still functions at high clearing speed. Of course it is also equipped with the approved trip edge system operating on two rubber-sprung elements (only available at ZAUGG), which protects the plough and the vehicle against damages even at high clearing speed, this in particular thanks to its small measures.

Powerful ZAUGG P21 airport snow sweepers ensure the clearance of runways and other airside manoeuvring areas - quickly, efficiently and with Swiss precision. With operating speeds of > 50 km/h the necessary clearing performances are achieved. Whether for the

clearance of snow, slush, ice or dirt in winter or for blowing away dirt in the summer - the snow sweepers from ZAUGG are suitable in every respect. These highly efficient airport devices are available with working widths of 6 - 8 m and in towed versions or permanently installed on a modified truck chassis.

ZAUGG AG EGGIWIL is one of the world's leading companies in the development and manufacture of high-end equipment for snow clearance on roads, railways and airports and the preparation of ski slopes. Special machines for municipal technology and ground cleaning round off the offer.
