The world's leading airport exhibition, inter airport Europe, will be celebrating its 20th anniversary show this year. Taking place 6-9 October 2015 in Munich, Germany, more than 600 exhibitors will present their latest developments and solutions for the airport of the future.

The international exhibition for airport equipment, technology, design and services is regarded as the one-stop-shop event for the entire airport industry. The exhibition profile comprises all areas of ground handling, terminal operations, airport IT and airport design. The target audience mainly consists of international industry experts from airports, airlines, air cargo carriers and aviation support services. The previous exhibition attracted a total of 11,900 visitors from 110 countries.

Organisers Mack Brooks Exhibitions recently announced the addition of a third hall in order to meet the high demand for stand space at this year's exhibition, so inter airport Europe will therefore be held in three halls and the outdoor area of the Munich Trade Fair Centre. Many exhibitors also booked larger stand space for this year in order to present a wider range of their innovative equipment to visitors. Live demonstrations of new products and systems are a key feature of inter airport Europe, the world's largest platform for the entire airport industry.

With a rather positive outlook for the international airport industry at the moment and rising passenger numbers, airports, not only in growth markets but also in Europe, are currently focusing on airport enlargement, refurbishment and new construction. The key areas for development are passenger handling, security, cargo operations and government-sponsored enterprise (GSE).

Airport operators are therefore investing in fully automated handling systems, real-time interaction with the passenger via smartphones, enhanced data exchange, time-efficient aircraft handling, security, cargo operations and GSE to enhance cost-efficiency and sustainability. The latest technology and advancements in these areas will be presented at inter airport Europe in Munich this year. Visitors will be able to get an overview of the innovations that are available, and meet new customers and potential business partners.

A visitor brochure in English and German has recently been published and can be ordered via the inter airport Europe website. The brochure includes an exhibitor list, a detailed exhibition profile, opening hours, ticket prices and details on how to get to the show.

A show preview will once again be published in August, giving visitors the opportunity to gain an overview of the variety of products and services on display this year. Hundreds of exhibitors are included along with profiles on the new products they will be presenting. The show preview will be available as a printed and online version.
